Motion Catch | Non-contact monitoring sensor SE for nursing care facilities
Non-contact detection of falls, getting out of bed, and prolonged immobility. A monitoring sensor for care facilities that considers privacy without the need for cameras.
"Motion Catch" is a non-contact monitoring sensor equipped with millimeter-wave radar and AI, designed to support the monitoring of residents in nursing facilities. Its feature is that it does not use cameras and does not record images, making it easy to implement in spaces where privacy considerations are necessary, such as in private rooms or at night. It supports essential monitoring functions required in caregiving settings, including fall detection, bed exit and return monitoring, presence/absence tracking, and detection of prolonged immobility. It can also accommodate breathing and heart rate detection, as well as sleep quality analysis reports (consultation required). It can be installed on ceilings or walls and can cover an area of approximately 4m x 6m with a single unit, contributing to the streamlining of monitoring in private rooms and nighttime rounds, as well as reducing staff burden.
