A clean room is defined as "a room in which the concentration of airborne particles is controlled, and which is constructed and used to minimize the introduction, generation, and retention of microscopic particles within the room, and where parameters such as temperature, humidity, and pressure are controlled as necessary" (ISO14644-1). A clean booth is a unidirectional flow clean unit (a simplified clean room) developed for the purpose of purifying the local working environment.

Dai-kuron coating is an unconventional chrome plating processed with a unique catalytic bath. Case Study on Production Equipment - Cost Reduction - At a set manufacturer, during the design phase, we introduced a prototype of a cutting gear made of MC nylon (resin) for the drive gear of a conveyor intended for food factories. However, this resulted in core runout of the gear. Consequently, issues arose with reduced transmission power and noise, leading us to consider the introduction of a processed product with brass pressed into the center of the gear. However, we were troubled as the price became twice that of standard gears.

The machinery manufacturer A was struggling with the installation of the safety cover for their centrifuge that separates water and mud, as the cover was heavy due to the steel material. They were also troubled by the soaring prices of steel. Since the centrifuge is used outdoors and exposed to UV rays and wind and rain, it needs to be resistant to rust and corrosion. They wanted a safety cover made of a lightweight material.

We received a consultation regarding the short lifespan of the vibration-damping rubber (φ25×58L) that connects the main body of the stirrer (mixer) used for liquid stirring to the plate. The rubber needs to be replaced every 1 to 2 months, resulting in labor and cost for the replacements.

We prototyped the top plate (8t×665×420) using polycarbonate resin (PC) to measure dimensions with an infrared sensor, but it got scratched, causing the sensor to malfunction. 2. We would like you to find a material that is resistant to scratches and does not warp under load. 3. We would like a transparent material that provides a cover so that the internal components of the machine are not fully visible.

Despite testing various resins, we have not found a satisfactory solution, and we received a request to select resin materials suitable for the intended use. 1. It breaks due to impact when the crane and product come into contact. 2. The guide itself falls off due to the impact during the crane's start and stop. 3. It comes into contact with the product immediately after cold rolling, leading to thermal degradation.

The piping line and components are imported and do not easily accommodate specification changes.

This conveyor is completely sealed, and the internal temperature reaches 60 to 80°C, which causes the conveying surface to warp and leads to issues with proper transportation. Issues: 1. If we request the conveyor manufacturer to produce it, it will take 1.5 months for delivery, and they cannot perform on-site welding. 2. In terms of cost, including the dismantling of the existing conveyor, it would amount to about 2 million yen. 3. Since the site is located in a complicated area, partial repairs are possible, but it cannot be brought in as a single piece. 4. We want to minimize the downtime of the production line and would like to complete repairs in a short time.
