We would like to introduce a case study on the management of the liquid level of a defoamer in a water-soluble waste liquid treatment system using the non-contact liquid level sensor "CLA," which can be installed on various tanks due to its electrodes being compatible with PET film. (Detection target: defoamer) The manufacturer of printing peripheral equipment was concerned about sensor degradation with contact-type sensors, making it difficult to predict failure timing and potentially increasing maintenance needs. They faced the challenge of needing a sensor that could be easily installed on tanks, facilitating mass production and making future maintenance easier. Thus, they adopted the non-contact "CLA." [CLA Case] Liquid level sensor that can be attached to a φ10 pipe

We would like to introduce a customized case of our non-contact liquid level sensor "CLA," which can be installed in various tanks due to its electrodes being suitable for PET film. A company in the automatic equipment industry expressed interest in adopting our "CLA," but they faced an issue with installation due to the narrow pipe. While there are products that can be installed in a φ10 narrow pipe, they reported that the detectable liquid level was only 40mm, leading to their request. In response, we customized the electrode part of the CLA liquid level sensor. (CLA liquid level sensor: CLA-D10P150) By sharing electrodes from other products and customizing them into a non-contact type, we enabled the detection of a liquid level of 150mm in a φ10 pipe. 【Current Issues and Requests】 ■ They want to adopt our CLA liquid level sensor, but cannot install it due to the narrow pipe. ■ There are products that can be installed in a φ10 narrow pipe with our CLA liquid level sensor, but the detectable liquid level is only 40mm, which is too short. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[CLA Case] Solving Mounting Issues through Standard Electrode Modification [Customization]

We would like to introduce a customized case of the non-contact liquid level sensor "CLA," which can be installed in various tanks due to its electrodes being made of PET film. A customer from an automotive parts company faced issues with the standard model "CLA-D10P40" already adopted for managing the liquid level of epoxy resin. The problem arose because the cable outlet for the electrode was in a straight line, causing the cable to be obstructive after installation. Additionally, since the cable outlet position was in line with the electrode, it became a hindrance during equipment cleaning, leading to their request. Therefore, we customized the electrode by changing the cable outlet to a vertical position while maintaining the same performance and functionality.
