Proposal for Improving Concrete Surfaces and Extending the Lifespan of Concrete Structures

Introducing a special pro-con sheet that combines water absorption, permeability, and water retention!

The Procon sheet can be simply applied to the formwork to remove pinholes and voids on the concrete surface, resulting in a smooth surface. Additionally, it absorbs excess water from the concrete surface, which in turn reduces the water-cement ratio, and the sheet's moisture retention function promotes the hydration reaction of the concrete surface, improving its quality. Furthermore, the time taken to reach the critical concentration for steel corrosion is 1.7 times longer than without the sheet, contributing to the longevity of concrete structures. 【Features】 ■ Compressive Strength: The mix is the same, and equivalent (Compressive Strength: 40.0⇔41.1 N/mm²) ■ Water Absorption Rate: Can be reduced by 50% (Water Absorption Rate: 1.0%→0.5%) ■ Abrasion Resistance: Can be improved by 56% (Weight Reduction: 2.5g→1.1g) ■ Permeability: Can be improved by 48% (Permeability Coefficient: 0.128→0.066) ■ Carbonation: Can be reduced by 30% (Carbonation Depth: 8.6mm→6.0mm) *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Circus Guide

We will fulfill what cannot be done elsewhere and contribute to various fields facing thermal issues.

This is a silicone gel sheet with thermal conductivity, flame retardancy, and electrical insulation properties. Its soft and adhesive surface allows it to uniformly fill the gaps between heating elements and heat sinks or other heat-dissipating bodies. It also excels in conforming to uneven surfaces and curved surfaces, demonstrating highly reliable thermal conductivity performance.

[Case Studies] Weed Control Sheet Location-Specific Installation Case Studies

We are showcasing examples of weed control sheets being utilized in various locations.

This is a collection of case studies on the installation of "weed control sheets," which are widely used as one of the measures against weeds. The challenges of weed management vary by location, such as slopes, roads, and planting areas. This document compiles case studies categorized by location. Please feel free to download and take a look.

[Case Study of Weed Control Sheet] Take Guard Method - Underground Root Prevention

We will introduce examples of underground root prevention using the "Take Guard Method."

The bamboo guard method is a technique that suppresses the growth of bamboo (bamboo shoots) from above. However, in some cases, there may be a desire to suppress not only the surface but also the underground bamboo roots. In such cases, we recommend installing a "subsurface root barrier" by folding a 2-meter wide bamboo guard sheet in half and setting it up in an L-shape both vertically and horizontally. The case we are introducing this time is based on a consultation we received stating, "Bamboo growing on the cliff along the river, which is public land, has invaded private land and is causing trouble, so we want to block not only the surface but also the underground roots." We proposed the bamboo guard method's subsurface root barrier. *Excavation will require heavy machinery.

[Case Study of Weed Control Sheet] Chigaya Sheet(R) Around International Port Facilities

Case Study: Using Chigaya Sheet® for Weed Control as a Counter-Terrorism Measure Around International Port Facilities

◆Customer Concerns◆ - Around international port facilities, it is desirable to maintain a clear line of sight around the fence as a counter-terrorism measure, according to the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) regulations concerning the security of international port facilities. However, even after mowing, weeds quickly grow back, making it difficult to maintain visibility when weeds are overgrown, which is not favorable for the security of international port facilities. ◆Proposal Points◆ - By laying down a Chigaya sheet around the fence, visibility can be consistently improved, and long-term labor for mowing can be reduced. - To suppress weeds growing from the gaps between concrete curb blocks and pavement joints, the sheet was extended to the road-side pavement, secured with adhesive and asphalt pins. ◆Customer Feedback After Installation◆ - The areas where the sheet was laid have maintained good visibility without the need for mowing, allowing compliance with regulations. - We would like to continue using it.

[Case Study of Weed Control Sheet] High Durability Climbing Guard Method - Roadway in the Park

Case Study: Measures Against Climbing Weeds Using the "High Durability Climbing Guard Method"

The kudzu that thrived on the slope within the park entwined itself around the fence and invaded the roadway. This reduced the width of the roadway, causing inconvenience to visitors coming to the park. ◆ Customer's Concerns ◆ - The kudzu climbed over the fence and invaded the roadway, reducing its width. - Weeding the kudzu tangled in the fence was difficult. ◆ Customer Feedback After Construction ◆ - The slope side is well-managed with a sheet suppressing the weeds, and the entanglement of kudzu around the fence has been eliminated, making maintenance easier. - The visibility of the fence has improved, enhancing the overall landscape. * The vine guard method includes a 10-year durable vine guard method and a 20-year high-durability vine guard method. The current site has installed the high-durability vine guard method.

[Case Study on Weed Control Sheets] ★Renewal★ Strong Grass Joint Sheet

Case Introduction: ★Renewal★ Strong Grass Joint Sheet

In the past, with the materials and methods used, when there were significant unevenness or height differences in the pavement joints, the strong grass joint sheet would float above the pavement. Additionally, it was difficult to adhere, resulting in poor workability. However, by changing the materials and methods this time, it has become applicable even to joints with unevenness and height differences. Furthermore, using a roller for pressing has improved workability. Previously, we used adhesives and sealing materials, but now it is possible to achieve both adhesion and sealing with just "Adhesive D-Touch." Additionally, the process of spreading the adhesive on the sheet with a notched trowel has been eliminated, leading to a reduction in tools and less mess when applying the sheet.

[Case Study of Weed Control Sheet] McLain Sheet® + GU Sheet

Case Study: Weed Prevention on Rough Asphalt

◆Customer Issues◆ - The asphalt pavement at the edge of the sidewalk was rough, allowing weeds to flourish and obstructing passage. - Weeds were also growing from the gaps in the already installed weed control sheet on the slope, invading the sidewalk and hindering passage. ◆Construction Points◆ - Since the rough areas of the asphalt were about 0.5 meters wide, we adjusted the width by cutting the Makurain(R) sheet with scissors to fit the site. ◆Customer Feedback After Construction◆ - With the weeds in the asphalt pavement suppressed and the width of the path widened, it has become more comfortable for pedestrians and cyclists to pass. - Weeds were growing from the gaps in the slope, but this construction also addressed the gap issue, effectively suppressing the weeds on the slope. - The gray color blends well with the asphalt, enhancing the overall appearance.
