Electret processing equipment

By combining a wedge-type high-voltage power supply with original processing technology, the processing time has been dramatically reduced.

What is an electret? - A substance that permanently retains electric polarization is called an electret. - This device can easily create an electret by passing a highly electrically insulating polymer material through it. Usage examples: - Polymer materials, silicon wafers, new materials for development, special films, non-woven fabrics, etc. Typical products and substrates that have been electretized: - Electret filters, electret condenser microphones, piezoelectric element sensors, masks, electrostatic dust collectors, electret power generation, etc. For more details, please contact Wedge Co., Ltd. Electrical Division Sales Representative: Tanaka. TEL: 06-6885-6273 / FAX: 06-6885-6274 / E-mail: info.wedge-d@webcatch.jp. Mentioning "I saw it on Ipros" will help facilitate a smooth response.

Abrasive Water Jet Cutting Method [Cuts hard materials and laminated materials too!]

Water jet processing with abrasive material mixing that allows for cutting of hard materials and laminated materials! There is no thermal effect, so there is absolutely no alteration or discoloration of the target object!

Water jet cutting is a non-contact processing method where the tool does not touch the object, resulting in no heat generation and no alteration or discoloration of the material. To enhance cutting capability, our company mixes abrasive materials (garnet) into the water jet for spraying and cutting. By incorporating abrasives, we can cut hard materials such as composite titanium, stainless steel, aluminum, and laminated materials. In June 2018, we introduced the new equipment 'Mach300', which has 1.5 times the power of existing equipment, expanded work size, and improved processing speed and precision. 【Features】 ■ No thermal impact, so there is absolutely no alteration or discoloration of the object. ■ Cuts non-ferrous metals, composites, stone, resin, cushioning materials, glass, etc. using the power of water. ■ Produces minimal burrs, allowing for cutting that feels like using scissors. ■ Capable of cutting hard materials and laminated materials. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Newsletter] Tips on Electrical Discharge Machining (Part 1)

What is artificial defect processing (narrow width processing)? The processing dimensions vary depending on the material and other factors!

"Electrical discharge machining" (EDM) originated around 1943 during World War II when the Soviet couple Lazarenko discovered the phenomenon of electrode contact wear due to sparks during their research. This led to the development of the electrical discharge machining method. There are three types of electrical discharge machining: "die sinking," "wire cutting," and "hole drilling." "Artificial defect machining (narrow width machining)" is an electrical discharge machining method that processes narrow width defects (slits, cracks, etc.) of customer-specified dimensions on metal test pieces (such as tensile test specimens). **Features of artificial defect machining (narrow width machining):** - An electrical discharge machining method that processes narrow width defects of customer-specified dimensions on metal test pieces, etc. - Processing dimensions vary depending on the material, etc. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

[Newsletter] Tips on Discharge Machining (Part 2)

Why does spatter adhere to the product surface? Here are the factors contributing to adhesion!

Electrical discharge machining repeatedly causes insulation breakdown in a liquid, shaping the product along the electrode. Normally, the machining debris would float in the liquid and be expelled externally, but when discharge occurs with the suspended sludge, the heat melts the sludge, which adheres to areas other than the intended machining section. This is referred to as "spatter adhesion," and it is a contributing factor to the adhesion. For components used in aerospace parts and similar applications, machining is performed without producing spatter. Please contact us for inquiries regarding shape engraving electrical discharge machining. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Abrasive flow machining

Flowing viscoelastic abrasive into the workpiece while controlling factors such as flow rate and temperature to polish the inner surface!

We handle abrasive flow processing from Extrude Hone Corporation. Viscoelastic abrasives are controlled in terms of flow rate, pressure, time, number of reciprocations, and temperature, and are flowed into the workpiece to polish the inner surface. Invented in the United States in 1968, the original development aimed to mechanize the manual deburring process of inner surfaces that was relied upon in the manufacturing of aerospace equipment. 【Product Lineup】 ■EX-800, 1000, 1500 ■MICRO FLOW ■ECO FLOW, etc. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
