The surface forms an extremely hard layer compared to the nitrided layer, consisting of a mixed phase of nitrides (or carbonitrides) and nitrogen martensite. By attaching a pipe rotation mechanism to a conventional 2D processing machine and controlling it to synchronize with the X and Y axes, it is possible to process various shapes onto the pipe. Our company’s "NC 5-axis control fine hole composite discharge machining" equipment is capable of hole drilling and forming processing through discharge machining and cutting machining.
