This machine is equipped with a spindle for processing (such as drilling and tapping) and a saw that can pivot ±180°, allowing cutting and processing to be done with a single machine. Everything is automated, and the pivoting saw can also perform complex mortise processing, enabling the consolidation of cutting, processing, and mortise cutting into one machine. The customer was performing acute angle cutting of aluminum profiles, but since they did not have a cutting machine suitable for large workpieces, they were taking time to cut using a general-purpose cutting machine and manual processing. Therefore, we proposed the long-length processing machine with a saw, 'FB6000-12ATC-C', which can perform both cutting and processing. This machine is equipped with two spindles: one for drilling and milling, and another for cutting with a ±180° swiveling saw axis, allowing machining and cutting to be done with a single machine. However, the cross-section of the customer's material was large, and it could not be processed in one go with standard acute angle cutting. Thus, we customized our interactive processing menu to enable acute angle cutting of large aluminum profiles by gradually cutting off the material, similar to cutting noodles. As a result, the processing time for acute angle cutting was reduced to less than half compared to the previous general-purpose machine and manual processing, and the processing accuracy improved.
