We received a request from Toa Construction Co., Ltd. to create a floating bridge that absorbs the swaying of ships to allow for safe movement from ships to land. To validate this, we produced a prototype that absorbs swaying with a wave height of 50 cm. The customer provided acceleration sensors and gyro sensors, which transmit the ship's sway to the control device in real-time. The 6-axis motion base counteracts the ship's sway, reducing it. We conducted a demonstration test offshore in Kitakyushu and confirmed that there was no noticeable sway even when people were on board.
