[Case Study] Custom Pitch Test Tube Rack for Heat Resistance Height Testing

0.4mm coated with a nylon that is heat-resistant up to 110°C! A case that used crimped wire mesh welding.

The customer requested a coating with thickness and elasticity that would not damage the workpieces, as there are various heights and pitches for the test tubes. To respond to each pitch, we used crimped wire mesh and welded wire mesh. We cut the stainless steel plate for the wire mesh frame using laser processing and aligned the wire mesh for welding. For height adjustment, we used stainless steel round bars. An ultrasonic processing machine converts high-frequency electrical signals generated by an ultrasonic oscillator into mechanical vibrations through an internal spindle. This vibrational power is transmitted to a tool holder closely attached to the spindle, causing a diamond tool at the tip to move up and down at a high frequency (approximately 20,000 times per second). Through this vibrational motion, the diamond particles strike the work surface, crushing the material into fine pieces and performing the machining process. Ultrasonic processing machines are equipped with forward-looking processing technology, enabling not only the machining of advanced materials but also the development of new markets and the pursuit of high productivity.
