Acid Nitriding ON ・ONO ・ONOR Process

Environmentally friendly, pollution-free heat treatment that demonstrates excellent characteristics of a new type of nitriding method.

Acid nitriding is a nitriding method that differs from conventional nitriding methods by adding an appropriate amount of oxygen or air to ammonia gas. Developed by Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.'s Central Research Institute under the name NN method as a non-polluting nitriding method that does not cause cyanide synthesis in the processing atmosphere during the 1960s, when pollution became a social issue, this technology has been introduced and put into practical use by Onex Co., Ltd., which has since made its own improvements. Onex Co., Ltd.'s acid nitriding is based on the ON process and includes three types of processes: ONO and ONOR, each possessing excellent characteristics. Compared to gas soft nitriding, acid nitriding shows almost the same properties in wear resistance and fatigue strength, but it has the added features of excellent corrosion resistance, seizure resistance, compatibility, and a beautiful black appearance. Process of fluororesin baked lining treatment

From substrate acceptance to inspection and completion! It is necessary to thoroughly check the substrate environment.

We would like to introduce the process of fluororesin baked lining processing that we carry out. The substrate requested for processing by the customer is delivered, and the quantity, appearance, and processing conditions are confirmed. Solvent cleaning and pre-heating are performed to remove impurities such as oils, fats, and old films adhering to the substrate. After degreasing, surface treatment, and preparation of the substrate, primer coating and primary baking are carried out. Then, electrostatic powder coating is repeated until the target film thickness is achieved, along with intermediate inspections to understand the film thickness deviations, ensuring a more uniform film finish. Once all processes are completed, inspections for appearance, film thickness, and pinholes are conducted.
