World's first "Visualization Engine Measurement Unit" - Towards a new de facto standard in engine development.
This is a measurement experimental device that introduces 2D three-component stereo PIV technology to visualize and analyze the flow inside an engine sleeve. It is a compact stereo PIV measurement device that consolidates the know-how accumulated from previous contract work. We support various characteristic values such as average velocity, turbulence, average tumble ratio, and average swirl ratio, from preparation for shooting to report creation.
■ Safety Measures and Automated Measurement Tasks
Since the laser device, optical path, engine sleeve, and tracer particle generator are housed within the device casing, measurements can be conducted safely without seeing the laser light or being exposed to tracer particles. Additionally, by maximizing automation from the measurement task to the output of PIV data analysis results, even those without PIV experience can easily obtain results.
