[Case Study] Chemical Products Factory

Introduction case of Corline! We received inquiries about hydrogen sulfide measures from our company through word of mouth.

At a certain chemical product factory, the equipment (measuring devices) in the wastewater quality measurement room malfunctioned, and hydrogen sulfide was recognized as the cause. After this incident, we received inquiries about hydrogen sulfide countermeasures through word of mouth. We first conducted hydrogen sulfide measurements and confirmed levels of 6 to 30 ppb (*ppb = parts per billion). As a result of testing with a demo unit of "Coraline" on-site, the levels were reduced to a certain extent, but they did not reach zero. However, through meticulous research, we successfully identified the "hidden source of generation" as the reason for not reaching zero. At our institute, we utilize our long-standing achievements and knowledge, such as conducting research funded by the Ministry of the Environment and developing simplified measurement methods recognized by the national and local governments, to support the use of simplified measurements in field measurements.
