This is a building gauge measuring device for railway operators. Its main purpose is to be used in railway facilities such as tunnels, platforms, and signals. The rotation angle of the internal laser distance sensor is controlled by an internal motor, allowing for continuous and single measurements. The measurement results are saved to a microSD card, enabling serial data communication output to a PC or similar devices. A dedicated base is used to install the measuring device on the track.
To measure, the base is placed on the rail, and the laser is aimed at the desired measurement point before pressing the measurement switch. The horizontal distance from the rail surface and the track center, as well as the height, are measured, and simultaneously, the measurement point is plotted on the building gauge diagram, with the clearance values calculated.
