The "LSM-9002LE" is a device that automatically and quantitatively measures the magnitude of retardation and the orientation of the slow axis in transparent materials with distortion or birefringence in two dimensions. By placing the sample on a circular polarizer constructed by combining linear polarizers and a quarter-wave plate, measurement can be started immediately. This allows for easy quantitative measurement of the magnitude of phase difference and the orientation of the slow axis.
